How we review content

Every article on our blog is written for patients and checked by one of our dentists before it's published. Each post names the reviewing dentist, and we match the reviewer to the topic: orthodontic articles are reviewed by our orthodontist, gum and implant articles by our periodontist, root canal articles by our dentist with advanced training in endodontics, and cosmetic articles by our cosmetic dentist.

We base medical information on guidance from professional and public health organizations such as the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Association of Endodontists and the National Institutes of Health, and we list sources at the end of articles. Prices are estimates for our practice and the Brooklyn area; your actual cost depends on your treatment plan and insurance.
